FUXTEC Lawn Aerator FX-RL400
Smart, Fast, and Easy Way to Treat Your Lawn
The lawn aerator is 430mm wide with a diameter of 150mm.
- Boosts water supply
- Provides more oxygen to the grass roots for better breathing
- Enhances nutrient absorption
- Both scarifying and aerating
First and foremost, it should be noted that scarifying involves a more intensive aeration of the lawn, as the grass surface is effectively scratched. Mulch, moss, and any leaves in the grass are removed. The soil can now breathe again and absorb nutrients, so it is recommended to fertilize the lawn after scarifying or aerating. Additionally, ensuring adequate watering is essential for a lush and healthy lawn. After scarifying or aerating, it's also the ideal time for overseeding, as the soil is optimally prepared, providing the best conditions for new grass growth.
You can find a hose reel for watering and the mentioned overseeding products in our shop as well.
- What equipment should be used for scarifying or aerating?
Naturally, each of these processes requires its own specialized equipment. For lawn aeration, we recommend using an aerator, also known as an aerification machine. Scarifying, on the other hand, is done using a scarifier or a scarifying machine.
- What additional treatments are recommended after scarifying or aerating?
After these processes, it's essential to water the soil thoroughly for the most significant effect. It's also advisable to apply an extra dose of fertilizer, as the lawn will absorb it more effectively at this point.
